Who we are
BRC Online Store (BRC Online) is a grocery shop in Lh. Naifaru, Maldives. This policy explains what we collect when you shop on brcmv.com, order from us on Telegram or by phone, or enter one of our giveaways — and what we do with it.
What we collect
- Your order details — name, mobile number, delivery address or boat/jetty, delivery note, delivery time, the items you order and how you pay.
- Payment slips — if you pay by bank transfer and upload a slip, we keep the image to match your payment.
- Your account — if you create one: your login, saved address and order history.
- Giveaway entries — your name and Viber number.
- Messages — what you send us on Telegram, Viber or by phone about an order.
We do not ask for your email, ID card number or card details, and we never see your bank login.
How we use it
- To prepare, deliver and confirm your order, and to call you if something is out of stock or we can’t find the address.
- To check bank transfers against your order.
- To record the sale in our shop’s till system (Ewity), which our staff do by hand.
- To run giveaways: pick a winner at random and contact them.
- To answer your questions and keep our own sales records.
We don’t send advertising messages unless you have joined our Viber community or Telegram channel yourself.
Who can see it
- Our staff only. New orders and payment slips are sent to our private staff group on Telegram so we can pack and deliver quickly.
- Our delivery team sees your name, number and address for your delivery.
- Our website host (Hostinger) stores the website and its data for us.
- Bank of Maldives only sees what you send in your own transfer.
We never sell your information or give it to other companies for marketing. We would only share it if the law requires us to.
On your phone
Our website uses a few cookies and your browser’s storage to keep your basket, remember your delivery details for next time, and show your recent orders. This stays on your phone — clear your browser data to remove it. We don’t use advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep order records for as long as we need them for our shop’s accounts. Payment slips are kept with the order. Giveaway entries are kept only for that giveaway and are deleted after the winner is announced.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you (unless we must keep an order record for our accounts). Just call or message us — we’ll reply within a few days.

If we change this policy we will update this page.
